Patiala District Court Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Stenographers Grade III - 

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.Sc., or equivalent) from a recognized university. They must also possess English shorthand speed of 80 words per minute, computer typing speed of 20 words per minute for transcription, and proficiency in computer operations, especially word processing and spreadsheets. 

Clerk -

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree (B.A., B.Sc., or an equivalent qualification) from a recognized university. They must also have passed Matriculation (10th class) with Punjabi as one of the subjects. In addition, applicants should possess basic computer knowledge and proficiency in operating computers, including word processing and spreadsheets.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years

Patiala District Court Stenographer and Clerk Salary 2026

The selected candidates for the posts of Stenographer Grade-III and Clerk in the District and Sessions Court, Patiala will get a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 29,200. This salary is paid as per the directions of the Government of Punjab and the Honble High Court.
